Our internships are designed to give you hands-on work experience. Internships are developed around a project

Required Skills

What knowledge, skills, and experience you?ll need to have

o     Ability to read technical documents.

o     Preferred knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

o     Preferred knowledge of basic IT organization, computer networking, client-server architecture, and
cybersecurity practices.  

o     Strong verbal and written communication skills.

o     Organizational networking skills

o     Demonstration of critical thinking skills

o     Problem solving ability

o     Ability to work 40 hours per week at Aera Headquarters during the summer

o     Enrolled in an IT program

o     Understanding of business - results driven, priority setting

o     Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities 

o     Must be authentic by being genuine and real; combining candor with care. Staying true and committed to
Aera and the community.

o     Must be resilient by recognizing that change is constant.       The ability to persevere and excel in
the face of adversity by turning challenges into opportunities.
